So you’re probably itching to know what I’m up to suddenly thinking about losing weight fast. Well, last week I visited a friend’s place where I had to climb two flights of stairs, and it did me in. By the time I reached the top, I was sweating, huffing and puffing, my skin was hot, and I was in bad shape. I went into the bathroom to splash some cold water in my face, and gazed up into the mirror, and then it hit me: I need to lose weight and fast.
On some level, I actually feel like I’m becoming my father. He was a hugely fat guy, with a wonderful sense of humor and a devout, good-natured approach to life. But I tell you, he was large. And these days I’m becoming large as well. Now don’t misunderstand, I love my pops, but I sure want to avoid topping 250 pounds. Because once you get that big, there’s really just no turning back.
So I’ve been doing a bunch of research on how to lose weight very fast. My wife is on board with me now, telling me that she also wants to get thinner, which will no doubt make it a lot easier to stay with whatever diet program we end up with. There’s a huge amount of different opinions on weight loss out there
I’ll keep you guys in the loop about how well the diet turns out for us. I realize losing weight will be difficult, but it’s what has to happen as far as I can tell, so I’m really going to be working hard to learn how to lose weight fast.
